My Top 5 Favorite Lip Products

Lipstick is something that brings an entire look together and that is no exaggeration! I feel much more confident when I’m wearing lipgloss or lipstick. Today I’m sharing 5 of my all-time favorite lip products with y’all!
1. Lorac Alter Ego Satin Lipstick
So I got this lipstick a couple of weeks ago at T.J. Maxx for 5 dollars and it was a great investment. The packaging is adorable and the lipstick actually really smells good, is it weird that I liked that?? Also, the color is so cute for spring! The one I got is a part of the I Heart Brunch collection but the satin lipsticks come in a variety of colors!
2.  Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss
I received this in the mail as a part of my Sephora Play subscription a couple of months ago. It is one of the best lip products that I have ever used. It’s easy to apply and is pretty long lasting. I have it in the color Kristen, it’s a brownish color but I’m obsessed with it. I literally want to buy this lipgloss in every color.
3. tarte tarteist matte Lip Paint
Back in December I went to my local Sephora and got to pick out a birthday gift. I got a blush and lip paint. I’ve really been loving the lip paint, it’s easy to apply and I love the color.
4. Laura Mercier Sheer Lip Color
This is another product that I got from one of my Sephora play boxes! This color is a pinkish red and it leaves a shimmering look on your lips. The color that I have is perfect for spring and summer! I was wearing this color in the Instagram post that I shared today.
5. Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment
I love love love this stuff! It keeps your lips moisturized and healthy but it’s also tinted. It’s great if you’re in a hurry because you get the benefits of a lip treatment WITH color!

Sophomore Year Recap

Hey guys!  I know for the past few months I haven’t been blogging consistently. I’ve had a lot going on with school, but now I`m done for the year!

Honestly, sophomore year was great. There were times when I was really busy and stressed out, but all in all sophomore year was a great one.

I actually can’t believe it’s already over. It flew by.

We started school in August and my fall semester wasn’t bad at all. I was still in general education classes that I had to complete before I moved to the upper-level education classes. As far as academically I did well. I was really proud of myself.

Fall semester was filled with studying for tests, speeches for my oral comm class, writing blog posts (because somehow I had time to blog which was great), and football (which is my all-time favorite sport in case you were wondering).

Also, I dressed up for Halloween this year and I had such a good time hanging out with some sweet friends! My friend Rylie and I were Daphne and Velma from Scooby-Doo.  Our school opens the dorms to the public so families bring their kids and Y’ALL it is so fun to see all the cute kiddos.

Another super exciting thing that happened during the fall was that I got accepted into the Teacher Education Program at my school. Since I’ve been admitted I’ll be able to take upper-level education course and I’m one step closer actually teaching!!

In December some of my gal pals took a trip to Atlanta with me for my 20th birthday! I really enjoyed it and I got to do some much-needed shopping!

Before I knew it winter break was over and it was time to go back to school. I have to admit spring semester was harder than fall. I was in some classes that required a lot of projects, papers, and other assignments.

It was a stressful semester but it was so worth it. College is hard, but it really is so worth the stress when you think about the life lessons, friendships, and memories that you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life.

Saying that I’m a junior in college is so weird and the fact that it’s true is even weirder. I’m so excited that I’m off for summer break. I’m going to take this summer to really work on the blog. Thank y’all for reading. It means the world to me!!

But now that the semester is winding down, I do have some time to spare. So I thought it would be fun to update y’all on my spring wishlist!

I am loving these products and I’m so glad that the weather is finally starting to warm up!

I hope y’all enjoy.
