October Moodboard & Playlist

 Hey guys! I cannot believe that we are already almost to the end of the month! So, I’m starting a new series around here and I am so excited about it. Every month I’ll be sharing a mood board and my monthly playlist. (I literally make playlists every single month. It’s a hobby at this point.) Book Review – The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

Hey guys! Today, I’m sharing a book review with you guys. I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve finished a book and shared it on the blog. I’m so excited to share this one. I recently read, The Seven Husnands of Eveyln Hugo and wow is all I can say. 

I have wanted to read this book for the longest time and I finally did. And I am so glad that I did. I’m a huge fan of movies, ones from the Golden Age of Hollywood at that. So, the fact that Evelyn was a movie star during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s was something I thoroughly enjoyed. 

All in all, I think that this book may have been my favorite book that I’ve read so far this year. It was captivating and complex. I fell in love with the story and the characters. I was moved by the tragedies and found joy in the triumphs that the characters faced.

  I was sad when I came to the end of it. I truly didn’t want it to be over, because I didn’t want to come out of the world that Taylor Jenkins Reid created. 

I can’t recommend this book enough. Go out and read it!

Trending Tuesday – Recent Runway Favorites

 Hey guys! Happy Tuesday. Today, I am sharing a brand new installment of Trending Tuesdays and this one is all about recent runway shows that I love! 

So, I’m sharing looks from 4 shows and they are all amazing. Let’s get into it!

1. Miu Miu Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear

I thought this collection was so much fun. It was sporty yet chic. I am a HUGE fan of using strong colors that contrast and I feel like this collection really brings that to the table. It’s fun, youthful, and it just made me really happy to watch. 

2. Chanel Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear

Okay, I LOVE this collection. I feel like it 100% embodies everything that Chanel is as brand and label. It’s just so iconic. But, I feel like there is definitely a more modern edge. It’s coupled so well with the chic aesthetic of the tweed and blazer. 
3. Giambattista Valli Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear

This collection is gorgeous. It’s full of the most beautiful sillouhetes. Again, I love how chic and feminine these looks are. I love all the details in this collection. From tulle, to bows, lace, and tweed. I think having all of these textures elevates these pieces. 

4. Isabel Marant

This collection is so fun! I love the bright colors. This is obviously a spring/summer collection and I think it’s chic and fun (yes, I probably use the word chic too much lol). I think that this collection really took inspo from the 80s and I think that is really so enjoyable to see on the runway.
