Hey guys! Happy Thursday. I’m back with a new post today. I’m so excited to share this book review with y’all 🙂

So, I told you guys that I subscribed to Book of the Month last month and I’m in love with it already. I picked two books last month and I’m actually skipping the month of February.

The two books that I picked out were The Dating Plan by Sara Desai and Outlawed by Anna North. The Dating Plan is the book that I’ll be reviewing for you guys today! I figured it would be a great time to review it since Valentine’s Day is coming up this weekend.

So, let’s get into the review. I just want to start out and say that this book was right up my ally. I love a good contemporary romance and this definitely delivered. I was sucked in from the very beginning. I really loved Daisy and how relatable she was. And I loved Liam and all his former bad boy glory. I thought this book was such a sweet twist on girl-having-a-crush-on-brother’s-best-friend.

Daisy and Liam knew each other in high school. She was the younger sister of his best friend. When Liam was in high school, he spent a ton of time at the Patel’s house. They were very close. But Liam disappears after breaking a huge promise with Daisy. All these years later, Daisy is still harboring that heartbreak. Then Liam and Daisy reconnect and decided that they would both benefit from staging a fake engagement. For Daisy it would mean getting her aunts off her back and for Liam it would mean inheriting something that means the world to him. But overtime, feelings resurface and it doesn’t go the way that either one planned.

I enjoyed this story so much! It was a light hearted and fun read. I literally laughed out loud and cried. This is Sara Desai’s second book (I read them out of order lol). I hope to read her first book soon! If you are in the mood for a cute/cheesy rom-com type book, I highly recommend this one!
