Book Review – Get a Life, Chloe Brown

I get commission through clicks and purchases made through links in this post.

Hey guys! It feels like it’s been a while since I wrote a blog post, let alone a book review. But, I’m back today with another review! I read this book in July and fell in love with Chloe and Red. I’m so excited to be sharing a little bit about it today!

So, this book is one of three in a series about the Brown sisters. Chloe is the first one. She is trying to branch out and do things that might scare her. Like ride a motorcycle, and have a drunken night out. She enlist the help of her new landlord, Red Morgan. And falling in love with him is the last thing she expects to do.

This book ticked a lot of boxes for me. It’s a rom-com, it had a lot of pop culture references, and it had two main characters that were sort of enemies fall in love. I really enjoyed this book. It’s the only book by Talia Hibbert that I’ve read so far, but I totally want to read her other ones. Something else that I absolutely loved about this book was the diversity! Chloe is a woman of color and she has a chronic illness. I think inclusion in books is such a wonderful thing. Diversity is definitely a common theme in Talia’s books.

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy fast pace rom-coms with an enemies to lovers trope. It was such a good book and I wish I could go back and read it for the first time again!
