October Sephora Play Review

Hey you guys! I’m here today with a beauty post! I’m reviewing the October Sephora Play Box. Like I’ve mentioned before, Sephora Play is a monthly subscription box full of 5 makeup/beauty goodies along with a bonus every month! This post is not sponsored, I just wanted to share what I got last month. 
First, we had the Clinique eyeliner and I’m not gonna lie to you guys, I haven’t used this product. I’m not good at eyeliner, therefore I RARELY do it. But I’m sure this product is great. 
Another product from this months box was the Bareminerals GEN NUDE Patent Lipstick in the shade Everything. And y’all the color is everything!!! I love this color with my entire heart. I’m a sucker for nude lipsticks and this one is PERFECT. I also love love love the formula. It feels SO wonderful on and it is super easy to apply! 
The next product in my box for October was the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Hydrating Primer. This product is very hydrating. I have a few products from the Rainforest of the Sea collection and I honestly really love them. I think they are perfect if you are looking for makeup that looks good while hydrating your skin! 
Next, I received the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum and it has been my favorite product from this months box. I’ve gotten a lot of serums from Sephora and this one is definitely a favorite. I’ve been putting it on twice a day (or trying to at least lol) but so far I’ve loved it!
The last main product I got in my October box was The Fresh Rose Facemask. Y’all when I opened this up I was a little iffy because the color looked strange but it smelled wonderful, and when I actually applied it I loved it! It did such a great job of refreshing and hydrating my skin! 
My bonus for this month was a perfume from Yves Saint Laurent. YALL, I just thought I loved YSL perfumes. This one is probably one of my favorite perfumes EVER. Before I had only really smelled Black Opium and I always said I wanted it. Now that I’ve tried Mon Paris, I know it is hands down my favorite YSL fragrance.

Current Beauty Favorites

Happy November! Long time no post! I’m sorry it’s been a while since my last blog post. I was actually sick at the beginning of the week and it seems like my week has gone nonstop since I went back to school yesterday. But today I’m sharing 5 of my current beauty favorites!

September Sephora Play Review

I can not believe this box marks my one year doing Sephora Play! I have honestly really enjoyed doing it! I’ve gotten to try tons of wonderful products!! Plus it’s always fun when you have a package full of goodies show up at your door! 
The first product from the September box was The Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly. I really like this product!! If you are looking for a product that hydrates your skin, this is the one for you! It feels so refreshing when it put it on. 
The second product in this months box was the Lashcraft Big Volume mascara from the Sephora collection. I love mascaras so much and I was really excited to try this one. I really love the brush shape and the volume you get from this great and super affordable mascara. 
This next product has probably been my favorite one from this box. It’s the Olehenricksen Truth Serum. It’s basically an antiaging and hydrating serum. I’ve used it a ton since I got in my box. I really do feel like it’s helped hydrate my skin. I love it so much, it also smells wonderful. 
The bonus product for September was the Belif The True Cream – Moisturizing Bomb. I’ve used this product before and I HIGHLY recommend it.  It’s been a wonderful moisturizing product. I was glad to get more of it in this box!
Next, I got the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eyeliner. I love Marc Jacobs beauty products. Their mascara is my all time favorite. However, eyeliner is not one of my favorite things,. I’m not very good at it so I rarely do it. However, I have liked this product. It goes on really easily and is a beautiful color. I have it in the color Earthquake. 
Lastly, I got the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. Everyone raves about this product, so I was super excited when I found out I was getting it. I actually liked it. I’ve only used it a few times, but it helped keep my makeup in place all day!

My Current Makeup Favorites

How I Organize My Planner

I love being organized, it just makes me feel so much better about school and life in general. I’m also an education major so buying school supplies is something I truly enjoy lol. I posted last week about planners that are great for school, which you can read by clicking here! 
Today I’m gonna talk about how I organize my agenda and just some general organization tips! 
Color Coding
Last semester I was pretty intense with this. Literally, every class I was in had a specific color I used in my planner. And yes, I know that seems really extreme but I feel like it’s really helpful! This semester I’m going with the same system. I’ve already made a key with all the colors and what class they are for. Honestly, it makes it so much easier when each class has their own specific color. I also have different colors for work, travel, and blogging.



Sticky Notes
I really love sticky notes. I use them so much. I can write a simple to do list on them and I can also write a note to myself to keep me encouraged. Sticky notes are great because you can stick them anywhere. They’re also small so it’s easy to keep sticky notes in a pencil bag or just in your bookbag. I just use sticky notes all the time, I think I have a problem haha!


To-Do Lists
I don’t know about you guys but making a to-do lists helps me visualize all of the assignments I have due. I love that I can physically cross things off. When I know I have a lot due, it helps me to collect my thoughts and write out all of the things I have left to do.
