Hey guys! Happy Wednesday. To say that I’m excited about today’s post is quite an understatement. Last year in December, I got to experience something on my bucket list. I got to spend a few days in NYC during the Holiday Season. And no joke, every day since I got home, I’ve thought about how much I want to go back.
Today, on Emily Style Edit, I’m sharing some of the things you should do if you are planning to spend the Holidays in New York City.
The first thing that I would highly recommend doing in NYC during the winter months is ice skating. Now, my friends and I didn’t actually do this, but it would have been so much fun. We talked about doing in A LOT. We just didn’t really have time to skate. We did see Wollman Rink in Central Park, which is ICONIC. When we walked through Central Park, the ice skating rink was actually closed for clearing. But it was still fun to see. If I were going to skate next time I go to NYC, I would definitely skate at Byrant Park.
Chelsea Market at Christmas is literally a dream. You have to check it out. There are decorations and plenty of places to shop and eat. When I went last year, I walked through and it truly made me so happy!
While I was in NYC we went to see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Plaza. Well, we went to a taping of the Today Show and that’s when we saw it. Since we had to be there so early, it was actually dark out. So, we got to see it with all the lights. It was so magical!!
The Rockettes is something you HAVE to see at Christmas! I know this year they aren’t performing due to the pandemic. However, if you go next year or anytime later on you have to see the Rockettes. It was absolutely stunning and it brought tears to my eyes.
Lastly, Macy’s in NYC is iconic. My friends and I went on our last day and explored all 8 floors. It was so much fun!
I hope that you guys enjoy today’s post!
