3 Outfits for the Transition into Fall

It is officially fall! But unfortunately, the weather has not caught up. It can be a struggle to find outfits to wear during this unusual time, but it can also be a lot of fun to layer, mix patterns, and bring back summer pieces to give them a fall spin.

Look 1 – Athleisure

Athleisure is truly the way to go. You can be comfortable and still look elevated. This is the perfect look for grabbing dinner after a spin class or running out to Trader Joe’s. To make this look fit the fall vibes, choose base layers in earth tones. The bra and leggings I styled are brown, and I am obsessed with this dark chocolate brown for fall. It is so cute!

Look 2 – Casual but Classy

For the second look, I opted for something that is still casual but dressed up a bit. The jeans offer structure and make the look more put-together. You could wear this out for book club, a casual date night, or brunch! I added in some cute flats and a chic Longchamp bag!

Look 3 – Dressy Chic

The key to this look is picking a dress that leans into the fall color scheme. This dress is from Farm Rio, and while it is higher in price, I thought it was gorgeous for fall. You could add some dainty gold jewelry to elevate this look even further. This look is perfect for girls’ night, a rooftop dinner, or fancy date night!

I wanna encourage you to shop your closet first and foremost before buying anything. Sometimes I completely forget what I have, and it isn’t until I’m looking through my clothes that I remember. Sometimes it will even strike up some inspiration for me. I also want to encourage you to wear what makes you feel good. I truly think that is the most important rule in fashion. As we transition into fall and you share your looks on IG or TikTok, tag me!! I would love to see how you guys style your transitional looks.

Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo Part 3

I get commission through clicks and purchases made through links in this post.

Hey guys! So, I definitely meant for this post to go up earlier lol. Time just got away from me. But better late than never right?

Anyway, today is my last part of my Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo miniseries.  I’ve loved putting these posts together. I hope that you guys have also enjoyed them!

Today’s outfit is somewhere between dresses and leggings/sweaters. Today’s inspo is jeans and sweaters! I think that this combo can be dressy without being too much, but at the same time it’s casual without being super laid back. As much as I do love leggings (which is ALOT) I think jeans can be so great. I always feel put together when I wear jeans!

Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo Part 2

I get commssion through clicks and purchases made through links in this post.

Hey guys! Welcome to part 2 of my miniseries, Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo. If you missed yesterday’s post, you can check it out by clicking here

Today’s outfit inspo is probably my favorite. It’s a go-to look for me. Plus, it’s perfect for Thanksgiving (a holiday that’s centered around food lol).

Leggings and sweaters are the perfect combinations for Thanksgiving.  NGL, I’m a firm believer that leggings are ALWAYS a good idea.

I’ve linked these exact leggings down below. I bought them last year, but they are back in stock this year. I bought them because they are a dupe for the Spanks Faux leather leggings, and they are so much cheaper. I also bought them for my NYC trip, but I literally wear them all the time! I also linked my orange sweater down below! It’s another favorite of mine.

Keep scrolling to see some inspiration for the holidays! And you scroll down even farther to shop this post!

Like I said, these leggings are a favorite of mine. I highly recommend them.
I’m all about being comfy, so I’m like 99.9% sure that this is probably what I’ll be wearing next Thursday!

3 Shoes Styles for Fall

I get commission through clicks and purchases made through links in this post.

Hey guys! Welcome back to Emilly’s Style Edit. I’m sharing a fun fall fashion post with you guys today. So, it’s no secret that I love shoes. And I thought today I would round up my three favorite kinds of shoes for the fall and some that you can shop! So let’s get into it!

The first shoe that is a MUST for the fall, is a pair of mules. I have a couple and I know that I’m gonna catch myself wearing them all the dang time. They are so easy and effortless. Plus, I think they definitely elevate any outfit!

The second fall must-have is a pair of booties. I feel like it wouldn’t be fall without a good pair of booties! They are so much fun and can really make your outfit so cute!

Lastly, I definitely think that you need a fun pair of sneakers for the fall. I think sneakers are great. They just add something so casual to your day to day looks. I know the sneakers that I have are worn so much!
