My Goals for 2023

Hey guys! Happy New Year! I can hardly believe that it’s already 2023. It’s crazy how time just goes by so fast. With the start of the new year, I have decided to create some goals for myself! I want 2023 to be a year where I truly become the best version of myself and I think these are some great goals to help me.

Number 1 is to read at least 25 books and to branch out and read other genres besides contemporary romcoms. I love reading, and I have since I was in elementary school. It’s something that I want to make time for in this new year because I want to crush my 2023 reading goal. I have books on my TBR that are other genres. I want to read more historical fiction and nonfiction/biographies. If you have any recommendations, let me know! Something else I’m going to be doing more of in 2023 is listening to audiobooks! I think it will help me read more throughout the year.

My 2nd goal for this new year is to have a consistent morning and night routine. I think that a consistent routine will help me become more producive. I’ve always had trouble sticking to a routine, and I’m hoping that these habits will become second nature to me!

Goal 3 might seem silly, but it’s to travel more. I love traveling and exploring new places. Last year I got to visit some really fun places. I also went to another country for the first time ever! I hope to continue to travel this year and explore places I’ve never been to before.

My 4th goal for 2023 is to exercise at least three times a week. I’ve never been good at working out or exercising consistently. That’s something that I want to change this year. I think it will help me feel better both physically and mentally!

Lastly, my 5th goal is to eat healthier and meal prep. I think meal prepping would be a great way for me to eat healthier and hold myself accountable. I’m so bad about not eating much/or eating something totally unhealthy at work. I want to be more mindful of what I’m putting in my body!

That’s all I’ve got. I know these goals are gonna keep me busy and I truly hope that I’m able to build good habits in the new year! Thanks for reading! I would love to hear your own goals below!!
