I can’t believe that another NYFW has come and gone. This has been the second NYFW that has been pretty much virtual/live-streamed. Which is great for someone like me. I want to go to NYFW so badly one day! Like, it’s literally on my bucket list. Today, I’m focusing on 3 shows that I loved. Some of these shows had so many gorgeous looks, so I had a hard time narrowing it down! But I hope that you guys enjoy it!
1.Jason Wu
The past several seasons I have really looked forward to Jason Wu’s shows. I think he has such a fresh perspective. This show was like an ode to coats (I love a good coat moment). This show was also also a collaboration/sponsor with Coca-Cola. While those pieces weren’t my favorite, they were still chic and tasteful. I think one of my favorite things about this show was the boots, hands down. They came in different styles, textures, and colors. I love boots, especially when they make a statement. Another thing about this show that I enjoyed, was the colors. It was obviously more muted and colors that are perfect for fall and winter. Normally, I love colorful outfits and pieces, but I just love how chic this all looks. Oh, how I would love to be walking around Manhattan in one of these coats in late November. (Life goals!! Am I right??)
2. Zimmermann
Oh my gosh, guys!! This show CAPTIVATED me. I was watching it and I couldn’t look away. Each time I would see a new look, I thought that surely it couldn’t get better. And yet, it did. I feel like typically we don’t think of vibrant colors during fall/winter and I’m here for that trend. Like I said earlier, I’m a sucker for color and this collection was like a love letter to colors. So, I was instantly hooked. I think if I could live in any high fashion brand, it would be Zimmermann. Like can you imagine how wonderful and whimsical it would be??!
3. Ulla Johnson
I loved this collection. I think it looks so gorgeous and the background of the Lincoln Center is absolutely stunning. I love the color palette of this collection. I also love the femininity. The silhouettes are gorgeous. The mix of prints, textures, and fabrics is gorgeous to see. The last look with the green plaid coat is a definite favorite of mine. I can totally imagine taking my kids to soccer practice in this outfit LOL. It’s beautiful.
Fashion Week looks different these days, but I’m always blown away with the fashion industries’ resilience. I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. I hop that you enjoyed this post. Did you catch any NYFW shows? Which ones were your favorites?
