Even though I have a million things to do I always find myself watching tv shows. There are so many good shows between Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime and I thought that I would share some of my personal favorites with y’all today!
New Girl (Netflix)
I only started New Girl a few weeks ago, but it didn’t take long for me to become obsessed with it. It follows the life of Jessica Day and her new adventure of living with three guy roommates. I’m already on season 4 and I’m pretty sure I’ll be done with the show all together before I know it.
The Crown (Netflix)
I am a total sucker for period dramas, like I’m a little obsessed. The Crown is so well done, the acting is phenomenal. Another thing I love about the crown is the set design and costuming. The overall aesthetic that this show gives is so good! I highly recommend this show if you like period dramas or have any interest in the Royal Family.
The Bold Type (Hulu)
I started watching The Bold Type last year when it premiered. I instantly fell in love with the show thanks to the amazing soundtrack, the fun storylines, and the loveable leading ladies. This show follows three girls who work at Scarlet Magazine. It shows their lives as they deal with different obstacles such as work and relationships. This show is perfect to binge watch with your girls!
One Tree Hill (Hulu)
I cannot express how much I love this show. I watched it for the first time when I was a senior in high school and the characters and storylines make this show stand out to me. I’ve grown so attached to Nathan Scott and Brooke Davis and I’ve even traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina where they filmed the show! This show may be older than some shows on this list but it is SO worth watching.
Victoria (Amazon Prime)
Again another period drama and you shouldn’t be surprised haha! This one has also become a recent favorite for me. Back before I got out of school for the summer I signed up for Amazon Prime (it probably wasn’t the best idea but I did it anyway!) and I have absolutely loved having Prime Video. This show is great, it follows the life of a young Queen Victoria and her husband Albert. The acting is great and the costuming and sets are stunning. If you like history or royals this is another must watch!

The Americans (Amazon Prime)
This show is another period drama but it also has elements of a political drama. I started watching this show a few weeks ago and I am HOOKED. It follows the lives of Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings. They’re Russian spies living near Washington, D.C. in the 1980s. There is so much suspense and drama, and I feel like in no time I’ll knock out all 6 seasons in no time.
