Hey guys and happy Monday! I hope that you all had a great holiday weekend. I cannot believe that we’re already 7 months into 2020. While this year has felt like it’s dragging, it also feels like it should still be March?? It’s all just been so weird.
I’m really excited to share today’s post with you guys. If you know me, you know I like to read. One of my goals for 2020 is to diversify my bookshelf. I picked up Alisha Rai’s The Right Swipe at Target back last month. And while I was at the beach a few weeks back I read it and I could NOT put down.
I love a good contemporary romance novel. This one definitely checked all of my boxes. It was relatable and easy to read. I also really came to like the characters. The two main ones were really likable and I could see myself wanting to hang out with them IRL.
It’s about a guy and girl who meet on a dating app (which is so relevant to the world we live in and I loved that!!) and they have a one night stand. Then after the fact they end up meeting again. I found myself super invested in Rhiannon, a developer for a dating app herself and Samson, a retired football player.
This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning and I am so glad that I read it. I highly recommend it and I cannot wait to read Alisha Rai’s other novels!
