Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday! I love the joy surrounding this time of year and the feeling of happiness and warmth. There aren’t many things I enjoy more than getting cozy and watching my favorite Christmas movies!
I thought it would be fun if I shared 4 of my favorite Christmas movies with you guys today!
1. It’s a Wonderful Life – This movie is such a classic! I want to make it a tradition with my family one day to sit down and watching this movie on Christmas Eve! But really, I love the message behind this movie, your life touches so many others whether you realize it or not. This movie just makes me so happy! It’s so heartwarming and I guarantee it’ll make you feel the same way!
2. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – Honestly, I will watch this movie any time of the year but there’s just something so special about watching it at Christmas. The humor in this movie gets me every time. No matter how many times I hear the lines, “And why is the carpet all wet, Todd?” and “I don’t know Margo!” I laugh every time. If you’re looking for a hilarious movie to watch with your family this Christmas, this is the movie for you!
3. The Holiday – After watching this movie I want to spend the Christmas holiday in a cottage in the English countryside, especially if that means that Jude Law shows up at my door! I only saw this movie a year or so ago but I think the storyline is so cute! Two ladies on opposite sides of the earth switch houses for Christmas to get away from their lives. It’s so heartwarming and it always puts me in a good mood.
4. Love Actually – This is such a great movie filled with incredible actors and actresses. I mean you’ve got Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth and SO many more. I love that this story follows the lives of so many people and you see how they are loosely connected as well. This would be great for a Christmas party with your girlfriends!
