Hey guys, and welcome back to Emily’s Style Edit! I’m excited to share today’s post. This post is all about the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks.
So, you’ve probably heard of the British based beauty brand, Charlotte Tilbury (which is named for the founder). The first thing that really attracted me to this brand was the packaging. Their stuff is SO gorgeous.
I’ve seen so many people talking about Charlotte Tilbury on IG and Youtube, so I knew that I wanted to try some of their products. Sephora had three of their lipsticks in a trio pack last year, and I bought it. It was on the pricey side, which is why I bought the trio. The colors that were included were Pillow Talk (one of their most notable shades), Very Victoria, and my personal favorite Walk of No Shame.
Pillow Talk is a great lip color. It makes a wonderful staple in your makeup drawer. It’s a nude pink color and is perfect for daily wear.
Very Victoria is a very similar shade to Pillow Talk, however, it’s more of a nude.
Walk of Shame, which happens to be my favorite, is gorgeous. It’s the darker of the three and once I started using it, I fell in love. It’s a deep berry rose shade. I think that it’s especially perfect for the winter months. I’ve been wearing it a lot in December and January.
As for the formula, these lipsticks go on so easily and last. I’ve also found that they are also super hydrating, which is a plus! They are so comfortable to wear, I don’t even feel like I have lipstick on. While Charlotte Tilbury is pricey, so far, I’ve been impressed with the products! I have many more on my list. So, hopefully, I’ll buy more soon and review them for you guys.
I can’t recommend these lipsticks enough. If you are in the market for a new lippie, you definitely need to check these out. 🙂
