Hey, you guys! Holy Moly, it has been so long since I posted one of these!! October of 2022, to be exact. Anywho, I’m excited to bring The January Edit to you guys!! I’m sharing lots of fun things in today’s post!

What I Watched

Honestly, I haven’t been watching many TV shows lately. There is a documentary on MAX that I’ve been hooked on, though. It’s all about the 90s, so that’s been very entertaining.
While I haven’t been watching many TV shows, I have been watching awards shows. I love staying in the pop culture loop, so award shows are my faves. I watched the Emmys and the Golden Globes. I am also so intrigued by the red carpet fashion, so that’s a bonus for me!

What I Read

I’ve read 4 books in January. The last two were on the shorter side, but they were still books! First, I finished Icebreaker by Hannah Grace for my book club. (I loved this book btw) Then, I read a biography about George Harrison. Random fun fact: he’s my favorite Beatle. Yes, I do have a favorite lol. Then I read 2 books from the Improbable Meet Cute series on Kindle! They were both so adorable and super short reads!

What I Listened to in January

January POP!

You’d basically have to live under a rock to not know that Taylor Swift is dating Kansas City Chief’s tight end, Travis Kelce. The Chiefs are heading to the Superbowl, and so is Taylor! As someone who has been a fan of Taylor for a long time, this brings me so much joy! She deserves to be so happy in this relationship. I’ve loved seeing her at games this season, cheering Travis and the team on! And I loved that he went to some of her shows to support him! Taylor and Travis have literally been my Roman Empire the past few months.

Sofia Richie Grainge is expecting her first baby with her husband, Elliot. Sofia and Elliot got married last number in lavish fashion in the South of France. And they announced this month that they’re expecting a baby girl this year. She is such a style icon, and I’m sure she’ll be the most chic mom!

Rachel McAdams, aka the OG Regina George, supported the newest Regina during her appearance on SNL a few weeks back. Renee Rapp was the musical guest when Rachel introduced her. It was such a cool moment to witness!

The October Edit

Hey guys! So, I haven’t written one of these post since summer of last year. I was just reminiscing and decided to go for it! So, I hope that you guys enjoy it! 🙂

So this is a post of things from October, but since it’s late there will be a few things that are from November!

What I Watched…

I’ve been watching 911 on Fox for the past few months. I’m currently on season 4 and I’m hooked! It’s a show that follows a fire station in Los Angeles, California. It’s such a great show and I’ve gotten very attached to the characters. It’s on Hulu and if you like drama/procedural dramas I highly recommend it!

I also started both My Policeman and Don’t Worry Darling. Harry Styles (Whom I love) stars in both. Sadly, I haven’t finished either one. They’ve both been good so far. My Policeman is streaming on Prime Video and Don’t Worry Darling is on HBO Max. Speaking of HBO Max, I’m trying to finish up the Gossip Girl reboot before season 2 drops on December 1st. (My birthday LOL) I only have like two episodes left, so I’m almost caught up. If you haven’t watched it, it’s pretty good! It’s also giving me NYC fever. Another show on HBO Max that I’m loving and that is coming back soon is The Sex Life of College Girls. It’s hysterical! If you’re in the mood for something funny and lighthearted, I recommend it! I’m also planning on watching Lindsay Lohan’s new Christmas movie! It looks really cute and I can’t wait.

What I Read…

Y’all I’ve been in a reading slump. I have so many wonderful books, but no motivation to read them. I did finish two books over the past few weeks! Before Halloween I read The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling. It was the perfect romcom for Halloween, oh my gosh! I actually finished another book a few days ago. I read Falling Inn Love by Erin Branscom. This book reminded me so much of a Hallmark/Lifetime Holiday movie. It was an easy read and I enjoyed it. The next book in this series comes out on December 1st!

What I Listened to in October

October Pop!

So, one of my absolute favorite people, Taylor Swift, released her 10th studio album, Midnights, back in October. I’ve honestly been listening to it nonstop. I honestly don’t know if we would have gotten this album if Taylor hadn’t been going through the process of rerecording her old music. This album truly seems like a nod to her discography. Also, for the first couple of weeks after Midnights was released, Taylor had the 10 Ten songs on Billboard! She also announced the Eras Tour, which my friends and I are hoping to get tickets. If you haven’t seen her live, I 100% recommend you go! She is an amazing performer.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen officially filed for divorce back in October. This ended their 13-year marriage. This was an announcement that I had seen coming. The couple had been struggling for several months. Hopefully, this will bring them peace and is the best thing for them and their children.

Sophia Grace, of the duo Sophia Grace and Rosie that used to appear on Ellen, announced that she is pregnant. She has also announced that she is having a little boy. I remember the girls being like 5/6 on Ellen. It’s crazy how fast time flies!

Hey hey hey! Happy Thursday! 💞 How on Earth is it already the end of May?? I’m pretty glad, that means the end of the school year and the start of SUMMER! Whew, what a wild year. I’m so ready for a few weeks of relaxing and taking it easy.

I’m excited about today’s post! It’s my May Edit, which is essentially a roundup of things I’ve done this month. So, without further ado, let’s get into it!!

What I Watched in May

I’m currently rewatching Friends (still lol). Their reunion came out today, I plan on watching that as soon as I rewatch all of Friends. I’m currently on season 4. I started watching The Flight Attendant on HBO. It has Kaley Cuoco in it and it’s got me hooked! It’s a murder mystery/suspenseful type of show. Normally, I’m not really into that, but there’s just something about this show! Also, Michiel Huisman (who was in The Haunting of Hill House and the Age of Adaline) is in it and he’s a fantastic actor. I’ve also been watching Love Life. It is all about finding your soulmate. It stars Anna Kendrick in season 1. And I just found out it’s been renewed for season 2! Also, the final season of The Bold Type premiered yesterday. It’s one of my favorite shows ever, and I’m TOTALLY not ready to say goodbye to the ladies of Scarlett.

What I Read in May

Well, I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump this month. BUT a few days ago, I picked up The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez and I can’t put it down. I’m planning to read her other books soon. I’m also hoping that with the arrival of summer break, I pick up my reading game. Earlier this week I shared my summer reading list on the blog. I have this dress in two colors. This yellow is a new addition to my closet and I’m obsessed. It’s also $12, which is a great deal!! These sunglasses are so cute and chic. They come in a set of two for under $20. This candle is from Anthropologie and smells amazing! I love it, plus the jar is so cute.

What I Listened to in May

Aly and AJ released an album this month and I’ve listened to it a lot! It’s very good! And Olivia Rodrigo’s album Sour is !!!!!

May Pop!

Ariana Grande got married last weekend! The pop star married her boyfriend, Dalton Gomez. The couple got engaged last year. The pair married in a private ceremony. But, Ari gave fans a peek of the wedding when she posted pictures yesterday on her IG. Congrats to the happy couple!

Monique Coleman (AKA Taylor McKessie in the HSM trilogy) is staring in a Christmas Lifetime movie alongside Corbin Bleu (AKA CHAD DANFORTH). I don’t think my heart can take the cuteness. I’m so excited, I’ll definitely be watching that when it comes out later this year.

It feels like the 2000s are making a comeback. Lindsey Lohan (let’s be real this girl was the queen of early 2000s films) is making a comeback in acting. I’m hoping that it goes well for her. Can’t wait to watch this as well!!

The April Edit

Hey guys! Whew, how is it already may?? It’s wild to me that we are ALREADY 5 months into 2021. Today’s post is my April roundup. I’m so excited to share with you guys!! So, let’s get into it.

What I Watched in April

As far as tv goes, this month was a lot of me rewatching shows. I’m rewatching Friends as well as Gossip Girl. I did start the new Freeform Show, Cruel Summer. So far it has me and the rest of my family completely hooked. It’s a thriller/mystery and we can’t wait to watch it each week haha. I also watched a few movies for the first time ever this month. Pretty Women (I can’t believe I’m admitting that lol) and You’ve Got Mail. Um, I loved them both so much!! They were definitely right up my alley.

What I Read in April

So, I read 4 books this past month. It was actually a series. It’s the Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy (They’re super popular on TikTok). They’re romance novels about hockey players that play for a college in Massachusetts. There is a second series that is connected to the first. It’s called the Briar U series. I’ve added those books to my TBR, which is already infinitely long. I also started reading Outlawed by Anna North again. I’m planning on finishing it soon! So far it’s good!

I’m obsessed with this eyeshadow trio. The colors are gorgeous for any time of the year. Plus, it’s super pigmented and lasts all day! Also, it’s so cute. This lipstick is from Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez and I just can’t get over the color I have. (It’s called Energized and it’s like a bubble gum pink). I can’t ever say no to pink. And this dress is the best $12 I’ve spent in the LONGEST time.

What I Listened to in April

April Pop!

The world watched as The Royal Family mourned the loss of Prince Phillip earlier this month. It was the first time that Prince Harry and Prince William had been seen together in public since Harry and Megan’s Oprah Interview.

The Oscars took place last weekend. Emerald Fennell won best original screenplay. Soul won for best animated picture. And Nomadland took home the Oscar for best picture!

Word on the street, (AKA paparazzi pictures) is that Bridgerton season 2 has finally begun filming. All I can say is that I am stoked to see Anthony and Kate’s story!

The February Edit

Hey guys! Happy Saturday. I can’t believe that February is almost over. It’s crazy to think that we’ve been in a pandemic for nearly a year. Gosh, how crazy. So, last month I posted The January Edit at the end of month. It was quite a hot mess. It was full of random things, but I had so much fun writing it. So, I’m back today with The February Edit!

What I Watched in February

I was definitely on a reality tv kick this month. I’ve watched Summer House. This one was more recent, the new season only premiered a few weeks ago. So, far I am loving the drama! And it makes me wish I could spend the whole summer in a house in the Hamptons. Another reality tv show that I’ve been watching this month is the most recent season of The Real Housewives of OC. I am living for the drama!! And it’s making me want to go to California so badly! LOL. The last thing I’ve been watching this month is Melrose Place. It’s the original one, from the 1990s. It’s great! I’ve also watched lots of Beverly Hills, 90210 which is connected to MP.

What I Read in February

I feel like I’ve read a lot more than normal this month. Which I guess is true. Last month, I signed up for Book of the Month. I received my January at the beginning of February. The two books I picked were The Dating Plan by Sara Desai and Outlawed by Anna North. I read The Dating Plan! (Loved it!) I plan on reading Outlawed soon. I also started reading some of the Bridgerton books. I’m kinda obsessed. So far I’ve read the 2nd and 3rd books. I’m currently on the 4th one. If you liked the shows, the books are even better!

You can shop any of the items above! I bought them all this month and am loving them. The comforter set is great. It’s so soft and I feel like it adds such a nice touch to my room! This purple dress from Target is so comfortable! I am going to be wearing it all the time this Spring/Summer. And this Amazon ring is so cute! It’s a David Yurman inspired ring and it’s great quality and size.

What I Listened to in February

My February playlist was another long one! I guess you could say that I really love music lol. This playlist has a lot of Taylor Swift, Aly & AJ, The Aces, Dua Lipa, and KAYTRANADA. Love love love them all! I hope that you enjoy some of my music recommendations. (:

February Pop!

-Nick Jonas is releasing a solo album! I’m a huge Jonas Brothers fan, but I do love seeing the boys work on individual projects. Nick’s new song Spaceman is out now and his new album will be coming out very soon (March 12th to be exact!)!

-Taylor Swift has finished re-recording Fearless! If you didn’t know, Taylor Swift does not own her masters for her first 6 albums. (It’s a long story, and a stupidly ridiculous one at that. I’m looking at you Scott B.) Anyway, Taylor (QUEEN) has gone into the studio and is re-recording her first SIX albums. (Which means we get 31 year old Taylor singing All Too Well and Our Song. I’m not okay!!) A few weeks back she released Love Story and it literally gives me all of the nostalgia. Gosh, I just really love Taylor Swift. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) will be out on April 9th. I for one cannot wait!

-Harry and Meghan are expecting again! I’m a sucker for the Royal family. And a few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Meghan (The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they are having another baby. I am so happy for them and for Archie to be a big brother. I’m highly anticipating the name!! I’m a sucker for royal names too. LOL.
