Updated Makeup Routine

Hey, y’all! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season. It’s hard to believe that there are only a few days left in 2021. It’s been a crazy year, but I’ve made some pretty unforgettable memories. Anyway, today I’m sharing my updated makeup routine. Which really just means I’m sharing the products that I’ve been using regularly! As always, you’ll be able to shop these items at the end of the blog post!! So, let’s get into it!

Let’s start with skincare. So, there are really three staples that I love. One is the hyaluronic acid from the Ordinary. It’s a great product to use in the morning and at night. It’s so great at hydrating your skin, especially in the winter months. Another product that I use is the Sephora Collection All Day Hydrator. It does also has hyaluronic acid in it. But it’s a moisturizer instead of a serum! Between those two products, I don’t have to worry one bit about dry skin! Recently I have been using an overnight face-mask from Fresh. It helps to calm your skin. It will help with redness, uneven tone, and texture.

Now, for foundation, I’ve been using the Loreal 24 Infallible Foundation. I really do like it and think it’s long-lasting! After I apply the foundation, I apply bronzer. I just use elf’s bronzer all over. Then, I use a Nars bronzer for contour. It’s the shade, Laguna. This is definitely a more expensive product, but I think it’s worth it! As for blush, I use a blush stick from Milk Makeup. It’s so easy to apply, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever go back to using powder blush ever again. They also last forever! Finally, I apply highlight from elf. It ties the look together perfectly.

Then it’s on to my eyes! I recently splurged on a Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow palette. I am obsessed with it!! It is pricey, but it’s worth it!! I got Vintage Vamp, but there are so many options. The mascara that I use is the Lash Brag Mascara from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It’s great. I was originally sent this mascara just to test out, and I loved it so much that I went back and purchased more. Lastly, I have to apply lipstick. I typically stick to Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury. It’s gorgeous!
